  1. I own a 2023 Evolve Auto model (second from the lowest tier in Australia), and I am rather certain that all our CX-30 vehicles include automatic side mirror closure upon ignition shutdown.
  2. Examine the thread, and you will see that Mazda has declared this sound to be “normal” and asserts that there is no issue with the gearbox.
  3. I inquired if, if my phone fails to connect to the automobile, we should attempt using a different phone. Once a phone is authenticated, the automobile recognizes that device, and attempting to sign in with the same credentials on a different phone will be unsuccessful. What should I do if I misplace my phone? A 12-hour hold is implemented anytime an unidentified individual (except the driver and secondary driver) attempts to sign in. This is to avert a theft scenario when another individual takes control of the application. What are the implications if we fail to recognize that our vehicle has been taken for a duration of 12 hours?
  4. This morning, I got a call from my sales representative, one day beyond the scheduled vehicle pickup date. The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) requires replacement. Pending delivery for one month. I requested the return of my deposit. Awaiting a response.
  5. Today was the day to get a new vehicle. Prior to payment, the dealer representative attempted to register me with MyMazda and encountered Error 400C06; the same code appeared on two more phones. The dashboard did not display the "In Vehicle Network Malfunction Error." The service crew worked on it for around one hour before submitting a request to Mazda Canada. I opted not to make the payment, and my sales representative provided me with transportation home. Five hours have passed without a resolution. I acknowledge that for each individual experiencing issues with MyMazda, there are presumably several more who have no incentive to participate in this forum due to the functionality of their app.
  6. Thank you for your response. Based on your statement, I should not be concerned about the bricking issue if I purchase the Mazda PHEV manufactured on November 23. The price of the car is excellent.
  7. I am the owner of a 2017 Mazda6 GT and an enthusiast of the vehicle. Seeking to acquire a larger vehicle, I observed a dealer's car available for sale with only 6 kilometres on the odometer. The 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV Premium AWD, the highest variant, was manufactured in November 2023. The cost is USD 38,000. I am aware that individuals have encountered issues with this vehicle. Are these issues significant enough to overlook the $15,000 price difference that I will incur for any alternative three-row seating vehicle? What protections do I possess about a certified dealer used car if it becomes inoperable, as others have indicated? I intend to operate solely in hybrid or petrol mode. Any insights would be valued.
  8. That is really foolish. It remains listed from when I setup my car at the beginning of my investigation in mid-January. I just visited Mazdausa.com, and it remains accessible. It is included in the premium protection plan for $650, with a standalone option available for $150, but availability is to be determined. If they have discontinued it, they should remove it from their website.
  9. Thank you for your contribution! I want an item that is robust and long-lasting. I own a white Siberian husky mix puppy that is rather little yet has a propensity for chewing. He has gnawed through materials I believed to be impervious. The Tuxmat has a more prominent side lip in comparison to the Mazda mat. Typically, this is advantageous; but, for this little creature, I believe it will swiftly transform into a chew toy.
  10. Where can I get these? The dealership informed me that they are not accessible via Mazda. It seems that WeatherTech does not manufacture these. Is anybody using an aftermarket product that works effectively?
  11. Mazda undoubtedly made some unconventional decisions. The rear taillights are, in my opinion, the most offensive. Numerous owners of the PHEV PP have replaced their components with fully lighted versions, and the cost difference for the parts is minimal, leaving me perplexed as to why Mazda did not include them in the highest trim level of the PHEV. Additionally, there is an absence of CTS (PHEV PP includes MRCC), a deficiency of a centre console in the second row, and uncoordinated fender flares, among other issues.
  12. Regrettably, it is a financial exploitation and mostly advantageous for early users of solar technology. Investing an additional $10,000 to $15,000 for a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle or a fully electric vehicle is illogical until my annual mileage exceeds 20,000 miles. The temperature here is not chilly at all. However, I like the choice of MHEV or PHEV.
  13. I typically do not object to a strong ride; nevertheless, my family prefers a softer experience, hence smaller wheels are preferable. The mountainous terrain in my area leads me to believe that a turbo engine would enhance fuel efficiency. However, the petrol prices in my vicinity are very expensive. Acquiring a PHEV will not recover the expenditure; however, if the $7,500 tax credit is used, it may achieve a break-even point. The intention is to exchange the vehicle within 8 to 10 years.
  14. I have not yet determined whether to get the PHEV or the Turbo S trim. I am uncertain if the dealers in my vicinity are transferring the lease-to-buyout tax credit. I am in San Diego and will be visiting Hello Mazda and Escondido dealerships. I assume both are offering 0% for 36 months. I will do a test drive within the following week. I am cognisant of several complaints of gear grinding in 1-2 gear on PHEV vehicles. What further factors should I consider? The PHEV dashboard and interior reportedly creak and rattle.
  15. Breaking News - Once Again Malfunctioned! It is time to replenish your popcorn container! Fewer than 24 hours, same issue. CarPlay does not transmit any audio, lacks control over FM/AM radio, and produces no sound even if the radio is accessible. The speaker symbol is crossed out. My ex contacted Mazda service and instructed to bring the vehicle in next week. Nevertheless, she was indeed near and completed the task after concluding the conversation. They suggested the usual possibilities, such that it may be the cord or the phone itself. She immediately instructed them to switch to the radio, resulting in no difference. Upon their consensus over its malfunction, she arranged for the automobile to be delivered on Tuesday. She firmly addressed them without being impolite (doing foolishly yields no benefits in our perspective), however this does not imply that one must be submissive either. She informed them unequivocally that she would be reporting this to Mazda USA and filing an official complaint. If given the option, she would return the CX-90. She has almost operated a loaner vehicle (CX-5 or smaller) compared to her CX-90! Several noteworthy observations: @ASH8 sent a Technical Service Bulletin about the amplifier's connections for a CX-50 for me to recommend to the service department. They declined to consider it since the TSB is not applicable to the CX-90. Unrelated to the radio, there is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that has been issued since August regarding headlights and wet conditions. She presented it to them and requested its completion; nevertheless, they expressed uncertainty over their knowledge of it and its execution. Although the personnel in service are undoubtedly kind individuals, I really dislike the "I don't know" or "No, we won't" attitude. She displayed the TSB PDF from her phone; how could they respond with anything other than, "Okay, we will address that"?
  16. My ex retrieved her vehicle "early," specifically before the 9th, contrary to their previous communication last week; they had possessed her CX-90 for an extended period. No paperwork was provided; she was informed that she would get an email about the job. Nevertheless, this Service Department has informed me of such, although I have received nothing. Do not anticipate component numbers. She was informed that the CX-90's "Tuner" and "Amplifier" had been changed. I instructed her to enquire if the car's software had been upgraded to v10014, but they just responded with, "No updates were required." I have discovered that this does not equate to the absence of updates. During the testing, they fitted the replacement component, and sound was restored. They then reinstalled the original component, resulting in the cessation of sound. They reported that they conducted this exchange several times, consistently obtaining the same outcomes of functionality or non-functionality. They did not inform her if they replaced one or both of the new components during the testing. It is quite difficult to comprehend that both the tuner and amplifier have failed. If it is accurate, then is unfortunate! She is really pleased to get her CX-90 returned, remarking that the CX-30 handled like a box, amusingly. If she receives an email detailing the actions taken and items replaced, I will return and share it.
  17. My ex received a message from the Austin South Service department late last week. There is little information, save that the component will not arrive until the 7th, and she may have the vehicle back on the 9th. I will attach the text messages.
  18. The CX-90 belonging to my ex remains at the repair shop, with little updates from the Service Department, mostly consisting of follow-up enquiries on her use of the entertainment system. They said that "Mazda USA support" had not encountered this issue. The local service department is unable to proceed until Mazda provides instructions for the repair. In a short time, it will be five weeks for the radio. My ex is determined to terminate her lease.
  19. My ex-wife's CX-90 PHEV has malfunctioned again with her iPhone, resulting in no audio from the radio. Upon connecting her iPhone, CarPlay activates; however, there is no audio output for calls or music. Upon her approach to the radio, it emitted no sound. Her 90 has had service twice for radio malfunctions, with the most recent visit resulting in the replacement of the USB module in the armrest. Following that visit, I updated the Tuner obtained from @ASH8 (version 26020). She brought the CX-90 in three weeks ago, and the most recent update from Mazda (Japan) said that they need diagnostics data. Consequently, the service department gathered many USB discs with the diagnostics data and had to ship them. To an unknown destination! I find it difficult to think that there was sufficient information to occupy numerous drives necessitating their mailing. I upgraded my CX-90 to version 26020 a few days before to hers, and fortunately, I have had no difficulties (knock on wood). The one difference in my operation of the CX-90's radio is that I exclusively connect to my CX-90 via Wi-Fi for CarPlay, never use the radio. In contrast, my ex often utilises the USB connection for her iPhone, but she also extensively employs her radio due to her preference for a talk radio station in Austin. I doubt she has a playlist on her iPhone to play music.„„„ „
