The phenomenon of windows becoming foggy or misting up during rainfall.

Greetings.

I have just acquired the MX 30 and, given the little duration of ownership, I am uncertain if the observed phenomenon is within the realm of normalcy. It has been observed that when the ventilation is set to Auto, there is an increased occurrence of window misting under rainy conditions, which deviates from the user's previous experiences. Periodically, I find it necessary to alternate between activating the front and rear demist functions in order to eliminate condensation and ensure clarity of the windows. The phenomenon of clarity being evident rapidly. I am hesitant to keep these devices turned on for an extended period of time due to concerns about increased power consumption.

The observation suggests that the air circulation inside the cabin is limited when the auto setting is on. Is this characteristic inherent to the system design?

I express my gratitude in advance.

I have successfully determined the appropriate utilisation of airflow for the purposes of ventilation in both window and floor settings, with the additional specification of disabling the recirculation function. The temperature inside the cabin decreases somewhat, prompting me to adjust the heating by a few degrees until I reach a comfortable level.

Typically, I use the windscreen and leg ventilation setting while setting the fan speed to level "2". This effectively resolves the matter and maintains its resolution. In winter, the automatic setting consistently prioritises warming up the legs by directing airflow towards the windscreen. This convenient feature allows for the simple adjustment of directing airflow towards both the windscreen and legs, enabling users to maintain this setting throughout the whole fall and winter seasons.

The situation deteriorates significantly when there are two or more individuals present in the vehicle. The performance of the automobile temperature control system is unsatisfactory. Throughout a span of 13 years, I have consistently operated Volvo vehicles without encountering the aforementioned issue. Consistently relied on manual control, use the foot and screen settings, with the fan set at a minimum of 2 and recirculation turned off.

I have accommodated a total of four individuals into my vehicle, despite inclement weather conditions. I deactivate the recirculation function and activate the air conditioning system, adjusting the temperature to a level that provides optimal comfort. This approach effectively ensures that the windscreen and rear window remain free of any obstructions. Please attempt to do the task.
